About the role
Our client is seeking experienced B1.3 and B2 Certifying Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to maintain a fleet of Bell 212, Bell 412 and Bell 407 helicopters supporting aviation operations in Papua New Guinea. The role operates on a 6‑weeks on / 6‑weeks off rotation and includes full accommodation and logistics support at the base.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance on the Bell helicopter fleet to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled airframe and engine maintenance.
- Support maintenance activities on other fleet types when required.
- Work effectively within the team while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a B1.3 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
- Experience on Bell 212, Bell 412 or Bell 407 helicopters.
- At least two relevant Bell aircraft ratings endorsed on a current AML.
- Valid and current AML (ICAO or other foreign licence acceptable to the local CAA).
Required skills
- Hands‑on maintenance of Bell 212, Bell 412 and Bell 407 helicopters.
- Airframe and engine maintenance procedures.
- Certification and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Use of AML documentation and record‑keeping.
