Radiographer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join our healthcare team in Papua New Guinea. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality diagnostic images that support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X‑ray, CT and MRI scans, following established protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and cooperation.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to obtain accurate, high‑quality images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to interpret imaging results.
• Maintain detailed patient records while complying with confidentiality and data‑protection standards.
• Adhere to radiation protection and health‑safety regulations for patients and staff.
• Participate in continuous professional development and quality‑assurance activities.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in Radiography from an accredited institution.
• Professional registration or licensure as required by local regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and radiation safety principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice and ongoing learning.
