Sales Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Analyst to provide accurate sales performance analysis, generate insights and maintain dashboards that support operational decision‑making. The role is based in Port Moresby and works closely with the Distributor and Key Accounts teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly sales dashboard to track sell‑in and sell‑out performance.
• Maintain the sell‑out tracker by collating stock data from Sales Execution Management.
• Build and update dashboards for distributor sell‑in and sell‑out performance of key accounts.
• Perform analysis to improve cash collection and generate data‑driven insights.
• Manage the rolling SKU‑level sales forecast used in the Demand Review within S&OP.
• Support distributor and key‑account managers with analysis for territory optimisation, annual customer planning and quarterly business reviews.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Economics or Statistics.
• 3–7 years of experience in forecasting, sales analytics, demand planning or sales reporting, preferably in FMCG or beverages.
• Ability to communicate with all job levels and present findings clearly.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience with dashboarding and data visualisation.
• Knowledge of sales performance metrics, cash‑collection analysis and S&OP processes.
