Account Manager – Papua New Guinea

About the role

Bradken is looking for an Account Manager to support and grow its customer portfolio across Papua New Guinea. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to drive sales performance, strengthen partnerships, and identify sustainable growth opportunities. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, site engagement, and aligning solutions with operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regional sales performance and gross‑margin targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and engagement.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across mining and related industries.
• Support regional sales planning, forecasting, and growth strategies.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer requirements to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales coordinators, manufacturing, product development, supply chain) to deliver customer‑focused outcomes.

Required profile

• Proactive, commercially minded sales professional with a focus on trusted customer relationships.
• Technical trade background or tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or related discipline (desirable).
• Experience in mining, fixed plant or associated industrial markets.
• Previous customer‑facing sales, account management or business development experience.
• Strong commercial awareness, ability to analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
