Business Development Manager – Highlands (Mt. Hagen)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager for the Highlands region, based in Mt. Hagen. You will research and map the customer landscape, identify high‑potential accounts and drive the onboarding of new partners to expand the reach and availability of our brands.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the regional market to uncover growth opportunities.
• Identify, approach and qualify potential new customers.
• Negotiate terms and oversee the onboarding and compliance set‑up of new accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and supply‑chain teams to ensure product availability and scale.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting on customer acquisition activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and work independently in a challenging environment.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organising and time‑management capabilities.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is an advantage.
