Channel Manager – Wholesale

About the role

The Channel Manager – Wholesale will lead the development and execution of channel strategies for key wholesale customers in Port Moresby. You will work closely with the wider sales team to translate marketing and business objectives into profitable volume growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement channel strategies that meet sales targets for key customers.
• Collaborate with field sales teams to hand over actionable plans and ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor and review strategy performance, adjusting tactics to maximise profitable growth.
• Align channel initiatives with overall marketing and business goals.

Required profile

• Well‑presented, personable and efficient professional able to work independently.
• Business or marketing degree, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in FMCG sales or marketing.
• Strong analytical and numeric abilities, capable of turning data into insights.
• Digital native with a passion for emerging technologies.
• Proven ability to influence and build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
• Financial literacy and solid understanding of commercial metrics.
