Commercial Operational Excellence Specialist

About the role

The Commercial Operational Excellence Specialist supports commercial and supply decision‑making through reporting, forecasting, CRM management, commercial analytics and operational improvement initiatives. Acting as a coordination hub between Commercial, Supply, Customer Service and global support teams, the role drives performance, efficiency and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly commercial reports covering volume, margin, line‑of‑business and terminal performance.
• Analyse sales and commercial trends, delivering actionable insights and ad‑hoc analyses to support growth decisions.
• Maintain commercial data, contract summaries and customer records across B2B, retail, aviation and lubricants segments; support contract renewals and tender processes.
• Coordinate sales inputs for budgeting and forecasting, consolidate forecasts with supply teams and analyse variances.
• Lead CRM review sessions, manage user access, provide training and collaborate on system enhancements.
• Capture and report operational improvement initiatives, acting as liaison among Commercial, Supply, Finance, Customer Service and global support functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in commercial analysis, reporting, supply or business support, preferably in fuel, FMCG, manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong business and commercial understanding with exposure to sales operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and administration.
