Digital Health Advisor Consultant – Papua New Guinea

About the role

Palladium is seeking a Consultant to serve as a Digital Health Advisor in Papua New Guinea. The role supports the assessment of country‑level digital health systems, their alignment with architecture and data standards, and their readiness for routine reporting and data use.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement technical activities related to digital health systems and health information system strengthening.
• Provide technical support to country teams on digital health systems assessment, reporting readiness, and interoperability.
• Document the digital health ecosystem, map systems to Government MOU metrics, and identify gaps.
• Adapt and apply assessment tools, collect system‑level data, and synthesize findings into reports.
• Ensure alignment with donor expectations, Ministry of Health priorities, national digital health strategies, and data governance frameworks.
• Facilitate coordination across technical teams, country counterparts and partners to manage risks and deliver outputs on schedule.

Required profile

• Legal right to live and work in Papua New Guinea.
• Experience collaborating with project teams on digital health or health information system initiatives.
• Ability to provide technical guidance on interoperability, data standards and reporting readiness.
