Executive Manager – Properties & Facilities

About the role

Air Niugini Limited is seeking a dynamic, commercially astute, and results‑driven executive to lead the strategic and operational management of the organisation’s property and facilities portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic property and facilities initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of commercial and residential property portfolios, including tenant relations and lease management.
• Lead procurement, contractor management and maintenance service delivery to ensure high safety and service standards.
• Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets, monitor financial performance and asset utilisation.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to property and maintenance teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, safety and environmental requirements and manage operational risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years’ relevant experience in property and facilities management, including senior leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing commercial and residential property portfolios and delivering financial and operational results.
• Professional certifications such as CPM, RICS, IFMA, FMA or equivalent are highly regarded.
