HRIS & Benefits Superintendent

About the role

The Superintendent – HRIS & Benefits will lead the strategic direction of human‑resource technology, data analytics, remuneration and benefits governance for New Porgera Limited. Reporting to the HR Manager, the role partners with business leaders to align HR initiatives with production goals and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and hold HR team members accountable for high‑performance delivery.
• Optimize HRIS platforms, ensure data integrity and provide executive‑level reporting and analytics.
• Oversee benefits administration, remuneration benchmarking, compliance and policy execution.
• Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, headcount control and employee engagement initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across diverse cultures and executive levels.
• Maintain high health and safety awareness in line with NPL Occupational Health & Safety policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years senior HR leadership experience in remote mining, energy or resource operations.
• Proven track record developing high‑performing teams and driving system enhancements.
• Experience managing continuous‑improvement and technology‑upgrade programmes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with HRIS platforms.
• HR analytics expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Ellipse/Element.
