Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1.3/B2) – Bell Helicopters

About the role

We are seeking experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) with B1.3 or B2 ratings to join a helicopter operation supporting oil, gas and mining activities in Papua New Guinea. The role follows a 6‑weeks‑on / 6‑weeks‑off roster and offers full on‑site support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled airframe and engine maintenance on Bell 212, Bell 412 and Bell 407 helicopters.
• Ensure airworthiness and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Support maintenance activities on other fleet types when required.
• Collaborate with the team while upholding high safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a B1.3 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience on Bell 212, Bell 412 or Bell 407 platforms.
• At least two Bell aircraft type ratings endorsed on a current Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).
• Valid AML accepted by the local Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO or other foreign licence acceptable).
