Mobile Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

In this role you will provide management and leadership within the Mobile Maintenance department of K92 Mining. You will mentor, guide and train the national workforce to improve safety performance, machinery uptime and overall efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate workshop activities through Mobile Maintenance Supervisors and delegate tasks.
• Maintain stock levels, place orders and ensure cost‑control measures.
• Report hazardous sightings, organise weekly safety toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, provide coaching and take disciplinary action when required.
• Respond to employee inquiries, complaints and emergency situations.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Equipment Fitting, Auto Electrical or Automation (minimum Certificate III).
• 10+ years of experience in mobile fleet maintenance, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with underground mobile fleets such as Sandvik and Caterpillar and training of operating and maintenance personnel.
• Ability to work in PNG without sponsorship.
