NDT Technician II – Non‑Destructive Testing Specialist

About the role

Oceaneering is seeking an experienced NDT Technician II to perform non‑destructive testing inspections across oil & gas, marine, mining and other industrial sectors. The role involves applying a full suite of NDT methods on pressure vessels, piping, structural components and process equipment, both onshore and offshore.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct RT, MT, UT and PT inspections in line with ISO 9712 standards.
• Perform Computer Radiography (CR) examinations and interpret radiographic images.
• Inspect pressure vessels, piping systems, structural components and process equipment.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, technical documentation and integrity assessment records.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry regulations and quality management systems.
• Support integrity management programs and asset life‑extension initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and client representatives to deliver safe and efficient services.
• Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to applicable standards.
• Participate in shutdown, maintenance and construction projects in onshore and offshore environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on NDT experience in oil & gas, marine, mining or related industrial sectors.
• ISO 9712 certification for RT, MT, UT and PT.
• Practical experience and certification in Computer Radiography (CR).
• Valid radiation safety certification where applicable.
• Strong understanding of international inspection codes and standards.
