NDT Technician II – Radiography Inspection

About the role

The NDT Technician II will perform radiographic and other non‑destructive testing inspections on on‑shore facilities to verify the quality, safety and integrity of equipment and structures. The role supports safe, compliant and efficient operations for Oceaneering’s offshore energy clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal inspections to confirm equipment meets client specifications and documentation requirements.
• Perform radiography inspections on fixed equipment and interpret DDA images according to client standards.
• Compile, submit and file daily inspection and shutdown reports using standard computer software.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Assist with additional duties, project work and problem‑solving as directed by supervisors.
• Apply safety standards such as Step Back 5x5, JSEA and HSEQ systems during all activities.

Required profile

• Radiography Level II certification (ISO 9712) with a valid radiation license.
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards including AWS, ASME and API.
• Working knowledge of NDE methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
• Understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Radiography Level II (ISO 9712) certification
• Valid radiation license
• Familiarity with AWS, ASME and API standards
• Knowledge of NDE (non‑destructive evaluation) techniques
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
• Interpretation of DDA radiographic images
• Computer‑based reporting and documentation
