Pharmacy Manager

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead daily pharmacy operations in our Port Moresby location, ensuring safe and efficient medication dispensing while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, including technicians, assigning duties and managing performance.
• Review, authorize, and verify prescriptions in compliance with legal and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records, oversee stock management, monitor inventory levels and implement best practice procedures.
• Provide clinical guidance to the team and handle escalated customer issues.
• Contribute to business planning, quality improvement initiatives and financial management of the pharmacy.

Required profile

• Recognised pharmacy degree and eligibility for registration/licensure as a pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven leadership experience managing pharmacy technicians and coordinating workflows in a retail or hospital setting.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with meticulous attention to documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, committed to ethical, patient‑centred care.
