Project Controls and Planning Officer

About the role

This new position supports the delivery team by managing schedules, costs and risk registers for a twelve‑month training programme. The role works closely with the Manager and the Program Administrator to ensure accurate reporting and timely decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the programme schedule for the team's twelve‑month deliverables and the training calendar.
• Track cost against budget each month and prepare the variance report for the Manager.
• Prepare the progress sections of the monthly client report and the one‑page dashboard with the Program Administrator/Reporting Coordinator.
• Keep the risk and action registers current and follow up with owners.
• Support the Manager in pricing variations and new training scopes.

Required profile

• Three or more years of experience in project controls, planning or cost reporting.
• Working knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Accurate, organised and able to meet monthly reporting deadlines.
