Refrigeration Technician – Madang

About the role

The Refrigeration Technician will be based in Madang and is responsible for repairing and maintaining all Coca‑Cola Europacific Partners cold‑drink equipment. The role also includes securing equipment records, managing service tasks, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain refrigeration, HVAC and ice‑machine equipment used for beverage dispensing.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, movements and service activities.
• Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting activities to resolve equipment faults.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental management requirements.
• Support the team by delivering work on time and under pressure.

Required profile

• Well‑presented, personable and able to work independently in a challenging environment.
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical‑Electrical/Technical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as PETT Refrigeration, NATTB Tradesman, and PNG RACA Refrigeration Licence.
• 3‑5 years of experience in refrigeration/HVAC maintenance.
• Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and contribute effectively to a team.
