Senior Video Editor (TV WAN Department)

About the role

Digicel Pacific is seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to lead the creative and technical post‑production of video content for its TV WAN Department. Reporting to the Team Leader Post‑Production, you will turn raw footage into polished, engaging stories that meet brand standards and organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, constructive feedback, coaching and mentoring to junior and other video editors.
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, communications teams and other stakeholders.
• Manage multiple video projects, ensuring deadlines and production schedules are met.
• Ensure all video content complies with organisational policies, copyright, brand guidelines, privacy and legal standards.
• Edit and produce high‑quality videos for internal and external audiences.
• Assemble raw footage, interviews, voice‑overs and sound bites into coherent news stories.
• Conduct quality‑control checks before content is aired or published.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film & Television Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional video editing and post‑production experience, preferably in a corporate, media, broadcasting or creative environment.
• Proven experience mentoring or supervising junior video editors.
• Strong storytelling ability through pacing, sequencing, visuals, music and sound.
• Excellent attention to detail in editing, sound, colour, graphics and captions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.
