Talent Acquisition Partner

About the role

SMEC, a member of the Surbana Jurong Group, is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Partner to support recruitment across PNG and the Pacific region. You will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, delivering end‑to‑end recruitment services for a range of projects in buildings, infrastructure and integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day recruitment activities, including stakeholder management, candidate sourcing, talent mapping, interviews, reference and compliance checks, and employment offers.
• Build and nurture strong internal and external client networks, maintaining trust and delivering high‑quality talent.
• Negotiate offers and contracts, promoting the company’s brand and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Document, plan, market, and execute recruitment programs and pipelines.
• Ensure efficient and organized delivery of all recruitment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum five years of end‑to‑end recruitment experience within the professional services industry.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and deliver recruitment results.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem‑analysis and resolution capabilities.
