B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – DHC-6 Twin Otter (FIFO)

About the role

Sigma Aerospace Workforce is looking for experienced B1 and/or B2 licensed aircraft maintenance engineers to join a FIFO team supporting DHC‑6 Twin Otter operations in Papua New Guinea. The role involves hands‑on maintenance in a remote environment with flights and accommodation provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on DHC‑6 Twin Otter aircraft.
• Carry out inspections, troubleshooting and rectification in line with approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support aircraft availability and operational readiness in a remote setting.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining DHC‑6 Twin Otter aircraft in an operational environment.
• Current B1 or B2 aircraft maintenance licence (EASA, FAA, UK CAA or other ICAO‑recognised authority).
• Legal right to work in Papua New Guinea.
• Willingness to work a FIFO rotation roster and operate independently in remote conditions.
