Commercial Manager – Lae

About the role

Digicel Pacific is seeking a results‑driven Commercial Manager to lead sales activities in Lae, Morobe Province. Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and subscriber numbers within a defined cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and subscriber growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends and competitive insights.
• Oversee financial performance of the assigned territory, ensuring targets are met.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the sales team to drive high performance.
• Prepare and submit timely sales reports to the General Manager.
• Utilise company resources and assets effectively to support operational objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a management or leadership role within sales, marketing or a commercial environment.
• Proven experience in sales, accounts management, distribution or marketing.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with solid analytical and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Valid Class 6 driver’s licence.
