Diamond Driller – Exploration & Mine Development

About the role

The Diamond Driller will support exploration, resource definition and mine development programmes in a remote mining environment. You will operate diamond drilling rigs safely and efficiently to meet productivity targets and deliver high‑quality core samples for geological analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diamond drill rigs to achieve planned drilling targets.
• Deliver high‑quality core recovery and ensure accurate core handling and sample management.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance and consumables management.
• Provide first‑line troubleshooting and support corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Identify hazards and implement safety controls in line with site procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with geologists, supervisors, maintenance teams and mining personnel to ensure efficient programme execution.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance drilling performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating diamond drilling equipment in remote or challenging environments.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent attention to detail and disciplined operational approach.
