Gold Room Operator

About the role

K92 Mining Limited is seeking a skilled Gold Room Operator to run daily operations of the gold‑room and associated gravity recovery circuits at its Kainantu Gold Mine. The role involves managing concentrate processing, product security and supporting the mine’s expansion plans.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the gravity recovery circuit, including scalping screen, Falcon Concentrator and shaking tables.
• Perform calcining and smelting of concentrate to dore.
• Prepare and manage required reagents for processing.
• Oversee tailings deposition, plant return‑water system and off‑site water discharges.
• Manage dore shipment and maintain product security and accurate record keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 school certificate.
• At least 3 years experience in gold‑room operation.
• Valid PNG Class 3 driver’s licence.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English and work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Operation of Falcon Concentrator and shaking tables.
• Experience with calcining and smelting processes.
• Loader, skid‑steer and telehandler operation (machinery licences desirable).
