Head of Talent & Culture – Papua New Guinea

About the role

ANZ is looking for a senior leader to head Talent & Culture in Papua New Guinea. You will drive the implementation of the Group’s talent strategy, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support the business’s growth through people‑focused initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PNG Talent & Culture team, fostering collaboration, coaching, and performance development.
• Manage non‑financial risk by overseeing end‑to‑end Talent & Culture processes and ensuring effective controls.
• Design organisational structures and people strategies aligned with PNG business objectives.
• Provide Talent & Culture advice to senior leaders as a key member of the PNG Leadership team.
• Maintain high standards of delivery through quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Control people‑related costs, working with Finance to keep budgets on track.
• Deliver ANZ Group Talent & Culture cyclical activities, lead change initiatives, and update policies and processes for PNG.
• Share data‑driven insights to guide senior decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Talent & Culture functions in a complex, regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leaders and influence business strategy.
• Strong track record of managing budgets and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Experience delivering change programmes and embedding new processes.
