HR Business Partner – Shipping Division

About the role

The Human Resource Business Partner will work closely with General Managers in the shipping division to align talent strategy with business objectives. This senior position covers industrial relations, labour compliance, recruitment, reward, and organisational development across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Drive HR strategy, monitor key metrics and lead strategic projects.
• Support organisational design, workforce planning and leadership development.
• Act as a trusted advisor on HR and labour matters for business unit leaders.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and employer branding.
• Guide performance management, succession planning and employee exits.
• Monitor time‑and‑attendance, conduct internal audits and manage leave liabilities.
• Prepare HR dashboards, reports and respond to employee queries via helpdesk.
• Assist with compensation planning, benchmarking and salary surveys.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management, HR or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in payroll and HR administration.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial HR or finance role.
• Strong understanding of HR systems, employment law, payroll and budgeting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution and change management abilities.
