HR Communications Officer

About the role

Digicel Pacific is looking for an HR Communications Officer to develop, coordinate and deliver internal communications and employee engagement initiatives across the organisation. The role ensures that staff are informed, engaged and connected through timely and professional communication of HR programmes, people initiatives, company updates and employee events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and distribute HR communications, employee updates and newsletters.
• Coordinate company‑wide announcements, HR campaigns and annual staff events.
• Manage employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes and stakeholder collaboration.
• Create visual communication materials such as presentations, posters, flyers and infographics.
• Support change‑management and HR project communications, and maintain HR content on internal platforms.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in HR, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in communications, HR or employee engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience using graphic‑design and photo‑editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to create professional newsletters, posters, flyers, infographics and other promotional materials.
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms, intranet systems and employee communication portals.
