Mobile Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Mobile Maintenance Coordinator leads the mobile maintenance department at K92 Mining, providing daily mentorship, guidance and training to the national workforce. The role focuses on improving safety performance, machinery uptime and overall efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate workshop activities through Mobile Maintenance Supervisors and delegate tasks.
• Liaise with senior maintenance leadership on planned maintenance and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Monitor staff performance, conduct coaching, and take disciplinary action when required.
• Respond to employee inquiries, complaints and emergency situations.
• Report and rectify hazardous sightings and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Equipment Fitting, Auto Electrical and Automation (minimum Certificate III).
• 10+ years of experience in mobile fleet maintenance, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience training operating and maintenance personnel.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and planning abilities.
