Project Administrative and Finance Analyst

About the role

The Project Administrative and Finance Analyst will support the Forest, Climate Change and Biodiversity SRBC Accelerator in Papua New Guinea, ensuring financial and administrative compliance while facilitating smooth project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update the Annual Work Plan and project budget, ensuring alignment with priorities and schedules.
• Manage payments, quarterly and annual financial reporting, and maintain project records in the Quantum system.
• Coordinate procurement and contractual processes for goods, services, and individual contracts in line with UNDP rules.
• Provide logistical support for missions, workshops, and field visits, including travel and accommodation arrangements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in project finance and administration within an international development context.
• Strong knowledge of UNDP financial, procurement and administrative guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, donors, and implementing partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency in UNDP’s Quantum financial management system.
• Budget preparation and financial reporting.
• Procurement and contract management procedures.
• Translation and interpretation support when required.
