Project Manager – Contract Management for Child Development Programme

About the role
World Vision is seeking a Project Manager to lead contract management and delivery of a 25‑month programme focused on vulnerable children. Based in the Mt Hagen area, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team and ensure compliance with World Vision, ADB and donor standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide contract management expertise, aligning implementation with Terms of Reference, World Vision and ADB guidelines.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, workplans, budgets, timelines and risk‑management frameworks.
- Lead a team of six experts, supervising work planning, task allocation and capacity building.
- Oversee financial stewardship, budgeting, procurement and expenditure monitoring to ensure compliance with ADB requirements.
- Monitor project indicators, milestones and outcomes, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Prepare high‑quality narrative and financial reports for donors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with ADB, national and provincial authorities, CSO partners and community leaders.
- Represent the programme in external forums and support Christian activities that enrich the project environment.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing donor‑funded projects and contracts.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and procurement processes.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation, risk management and adaptive learning.
