Systems Manager – Infrastructure & Compliance

About the role

The Systems Manager – Infrastructure & Compliance will lead the design, deployment and lifecycle management of core hospitality platforms across a multi‑property portfolio in Papua New Guinea. Reporting to the Head of Hospitality, the role bridges hospitality operations with central IT to ensure systems are secure, compliant and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration and integration of Property Management (PMS) and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems, establishing standardized deployment frameworks.
• Oversee major system upgrades, migrations and alignment with operational requirements.
• Manage hospitality system vendors and implementation partners, monitoring service delivery and supporting capital technology projects.
• Establish and maintain system governance frameworks, architecture documentation, lifecycle planning and technology risk management.
• Ensure platforms comply with corporate cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements and maintain continuous audit readiness.
• Identify and drive automation, performance optimisation and scalability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering or hospitality technology management.
• Demonstrated experience managing vendors, large‑scale projects and compliance programmes.
