Travel Coordinator

About the role

Nacap is seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to support its Papua New Guinea operations. Based in Port Moresby, you will manage end‑to‑end domestic, international and charter travel for high‑volume FIFO projects, ensuring safety, compliance and traveller wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate high‑volume rostered and critical‑path travel bookings, including complex multi‑leg itineraries, charter flights and remote site accommodation.
• Maintain accurate travel folders, documentation and traveller profiles across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with company, client and legislative policies.
• Act as liaison between project teams, operational support, client travel teams and external providers, communicating itinerary changes and disruptions promptly.
• Provide after‑hours travel support for critical movements, escalations and emergency travel requirements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification or internationally recognised trade certificate/diploma in travel, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Travel Coordinator in large, project‑based environments such as energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or renewables.
• Proven experience coordinating FIFO domestic and international travel, including charter flights to remote locations.
• Experience maintaining auditable travel documentation and working with travel management companies.
