Finance Partner

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Finance Partner to join our Finance & Strategy division in Port Moresby. In this strategic partnering role you will act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial insights, analysis and guidance to support informed decision‑making and drive sustainable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leadership and General Managers to deliver financial and strategic advice.
• Prepare and present accurate management reports, forecasts, budgets and variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting and planning processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and communicate financial risks and opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with financial policies, risk frameworks and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance colleagues to improve reporting quality, streamline processes and boost operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• CPA PNG qualification or equivalent internationally recognised accounting certification.
• 4‑6 years of management or senior financial accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
• Previous staff supervision experience.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
