MERLA Coordinator – Program Support

About the role

We are seeking a MERLA Coordinator – Program Support to assist partner organisations in the Incentive Fund Phase 5 program, delivering critical infrastructure and capacity building across Papua New Guinea.

Key responsibilities

• Support Incentive Fund partner organisations in designing their Program Logic and implementing their MEL plans, including capacity‑building activities.
• Assist the MERLA Lead with the rollout and maintenance of the digital MERLA system for IF5.
• Manage and implement qualitative data collection using MS Forms, facilitate sense‑making activities and lead reflection and learning workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor‑level degree in international development, social science, natural science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, evaluation or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience, with at least three years applying MERLA in an international development context.
• Strong ability to collect, understand and manipulate quantitative data from diverse sources.
• Proficiency in creating and managing MS Forms tools and translating data into clear visualisations for non‑technical audiences.
