Business Development Consultant

About the role

The Business Development Consultant will work on‑site in Port Moresby on a contract basis, focusing on identifying and pursuing new opportunities across real estate, consulting and related service lines. The role involves market research, lead generation and building client relationships to support the company’s strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, and prepare proposals aligned with strategic growth areas.
• Meet prospective clients, understand their investment and property management needs, and recommend tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine service offerings, support business planning and contribute to revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and client interactions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to drive growth through new business development and lead generation, especially in real estate or consulting.
• Strong consulting and business planning skills with a track record of achieving B2B sales targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Management or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with the Papua New Guinean business landscape and regulatory environment is a plus.
