Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially focused and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and brand activations function for Pactrade PNG Ltd. The role will develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing strategies for the company’s portfolio of CJ Patel Brands and other international brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual marketing and brand plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead marketing strategies for local and international FMCG brands.
• Plan and execute product launches, promotions and activations across key retail and outstation markets.
• Drive trade marketing and in‑store execution, including hands‑on brand activations.
• Manage digital and social media marketing initiatives.
• Analyse market performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead and support Marketing Coordinators.
• Manage marketing budget and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Identify new marketing opportunities and channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Management or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience in FMCG, retail or distribution.
• Proven experience in planning and executing brand activations, trade marketing campaigns and consumer promotions.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability to interpret sales, market and campaign data.
• Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies and external service providers.
• Sound knowledge of digital and social media marketing.
• Understanding of FMCG brand management, trade marketing and route‑to‑market environments.
