Trade Marketing Representative – Goroka

About the role

Paradise Foods Limited is seeking a motivated and results‑driven Trade Marketing Representative to join its sales team in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province. The role focuses on executing trade marketing activities, strengthening trade partner relationships, and ensuring strong brand visibility in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors and key trade partners.
• Execute trade marketing plans, promotions and sales activities across the assigned territory.
• Ensure strong brand visibility through effective merchandising and in‑store displays.
• Monitor stock levels and support consistent product availability across stores.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with brand and merchandising standards.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities.
• Gather field insights and provide regular reports on trade performance and promotional activities.
• Support the Sales Team in achieving territory sales and distribution objectives.

Required profile

• Qualification in Marketing, Business, Sales or a related field (desirable).
• Experience in trade marketing, sales, retail or FMCG (advantage).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently in the field.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid Class 6 driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Outlook and reporting tools.
