Articulated Dump Truck Operator – Surface Haulage

About the role

K92 Mining is seeking an experienced Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) Operator to join its newly created Surface Haulage Department. Reporting to the Surface Haulage Services Supervisor, you will play a critical part in supporting mining and construction activities through safe and efficient material transport.

Key responsibilities

• Operate articulated dump trucks safely and efficiently on the mine site.
• Perform loading, hauling, and unloading tasks as directed.
• Conduct pre‑start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Clean and maintain equipment to a high standard.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.

Required profile

• PNG Class 6 and Class 7 Driver’s Licence.
• Minimum Grade 8 education (Grade 10 or relevant vocational training preferred).
• At least 5 years of truck driving experience, preferably in mining, quarrying, construction, or heavy‑equipment environments.
• Ability to read and write in both English and Tok Pisin.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and ability to work in a diverse workforce.
