Civil Supervisor – Papua LNG Project

About the role

The Civil Supervisor will report to the Construction Superintendent and lead day‑to‑day planning and execution of civil works for the Papua LNG project. The role ensures safe, on‑time delivery of pipelines, roads, right‑of‑way (ROW) development and bulk earthworks while coordinating multi‑cultural trades.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control construction activities, resources and subcontractors to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce OH&S and QA/QC standards on site.
• Oversee work‑pack execution, time allocation and quality certification.
• Maintain progress reporting, identify issues early and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure all materials, tools and equipment are fit for purpose and properly certified.
• Collaborate with construction engineers on estimates and cost‑to‑complete reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of civil construction experience, especially in ROW, earthworks and bulk earthworks.
• Proven ability to supervise civil operations and lead multicultural teams.
• Strong safety commitment and sound, fact‑based decision‑making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• PNG citizenship is mandatory.
