Country Manager – Papua New Guinea

About the role

Interlinc is seeking an experienced, commercially‑focused Country Manager to lead its Papua New Guinea operations from Port Moresby. Reporting to the COO – Pacific, you will provide hands‑on leadership across commercial, operational and financial functions while building strong relationships with employees, customers and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall commercial, operational and financial performance of the PNG business.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Identify and develop new business and revenue opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic stakeholders.
• Oversee operational performance across sales, warehousing, logistics, distribution and transaction management.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing multi‑disciplinary management team.
• Maintain strong governance, risk management and compliance.
• Execute Group strategy effectively within Papua New Guinea.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Management or a related discipline.
• At least ten years senior management experience in telecommunications, FMCG, logistics, distribution or a related industry.
• Strong commercial, financial and operational management capability.
• Proven experience leading multi‑functional teams and driving business performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating in developing markets is highly regarded.
