Network Operations Center Engineer

About the role

KTowers PNG Limited is looking for a proactive Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to monitor and manage passive telecom infrastructure in Port Moresby. The role focuses on maintaining high network availability, coordinating fault resolution and ensuring incidents are handled within agreed Service Level Agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor site alarms, outages and abnormalities using remote monitoring systems and coordinate field response.
• Create and assign Trouble Tickets and Work Orders for alarms, outages, preventive and corrective maintenance, and refueling activities.
• Follow the KTowers escalation matrix and drive fault resolution within committed SLAs.
• Prepare daily TT/WO reports and periodic network‑performance reports covering faults, response actions and resolution timelines.
• Monitor and control site access through the iLOQ platform and maintain accurate access records.
• Prepare monthly energy‑consumption reports by tenant/site.
• Maintain complete incident, fault‑history, system‑performance and customer‑interaction records for audit and analysis.
• Analyze monitoring data to identify recurring faults, trends and early warning signs and recommend preventive actions.
• Coordinate closely with customer NOCs, field teams and subcontractors to achieve timely fault resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of NOC procedures, workflows and operational reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum three years of NOC experience in the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of telecom tower infrastructure and fault‑management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
