Director of Solution Sales Engineering – Pacific Region

About the role

Parallel Wireless is seeking a senior leader to drive solution sales engineering across the Pacific region, including Papua New Guinea. The Director will act as a trusted technical advisor to mobile network operators (MNOs) and guide the sales team through complex RAN and core network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support throughout the sales process and influence sales leadership decisions.
• Design and document end‑to‑end solutions (RAN, OSS, Core) that showcase the benefits of Parallel Wireless products.
• Stay current with industry trends, including Open RAN, 2G/4G/5G evolution, and formal training initiatives.
• Serve as the regional subject‑matter expert for product offerings and emerging technologies.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable specifications for development, implementation, and support teams.
• Create technical sales collateral and presentations for customer engagements.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key technical stakeholders at existing and prospective MNOs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in solution sales engineering for MNOs.
• Deep knowledge of Radio Access Network, OSS, and Core technologies across 2G, 4G and 5G.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives.
• Strong organizational skills, independent work style, and ability to prioritize multiple activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the region.
