Draftsperson – National (Port Moresby)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our team in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The role involves working across all stages of the design process, from concept to construction documentation, ensuring projects meet high standards and strict timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed design and documentation using ArchiCAD, applying relevant building codes.
• Prepare design documents for planning and building applications.
• Create detailed tender and construction documents.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultant teams and contractors on projects at various stages.
• Adjust designs and plans to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure compliance with building specifications and industry regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest design technologies and developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Draftsperson in the construction or design sector.
• Strong understanding of building codes and ability to apply them in documentation.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict project timelines.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with consultants and contractors.
