Driver – Transport & Logistics Support for World Vision

About the role

World Vision is seeking an experienced driver to support project activities across cocoa, vanilla, and re‑greening initiatives in Papua New Guinea. The role combines safe driving, vehicle management, and logistical coordination to ensure project delivery while adhering to security and safeguarding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transport logistics for project activities, maintaining accurate transport logs and field reports.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and regular checks in line with World Vision fleet policies.
• Support inclusive transportation solutions, focusing on gender and disability considerations.
• Collaborate with project teams to plan and implement activities, addressing security and cultural factors.
• Monitor, inspect, and document vehicle condition and mechanical performance on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Certificate in Secondary Education.
• 5‑7 years of professional driving experience, preferably with exposure to cocoa or vanilla sectors.
• Current Class 6 driver’s licence and a certified safe‑driving qualification.
• Familiarity with local roads and communities in Madang.
