Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work full‑time on‑site at our food production facility in Awar, supporting daily operations and site development. The role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders and other heavy equipment for digging, trenching, grading and material movement according to work plans.
• Conduct pre‑start inspections, report any equipment issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow all safety policies, wear required personal protective equipment and participate in safety briefings.
• Complete operational logs and reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in industrial, construction, mining or production environments.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and commitment to safe work methods.
• Valid operator certifications or licences as required by local regulations.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks outdoors for extended periods.
