About the role
The Livelihood & Training Expert will design, deliver, and monitor agricultural, business, and vocational training programs that strengthen climate‑resilient livelihoods, increase household income, and improve food security for vulnerable communities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and adapt curricula on climate‑resilient agriculture, financial literacy, enterprise development, and market‑oriented practices based on needs assessments.
- Facilitate participatory training sessions for women beneficiaries, community groups, local trainers, and staff.
- Provide coaching and technical back‑stopping to reinforce adoption of improved agricultural and business practices.
- Support the formation and capacity building of savings groups, cooperatives, and small agribusiness ventures.
- Coordinate with government partners, NGOs, private sector actors, and market intermediaries to create value‑chain linkages.
- Manage logistics, training materials, tools, and resources for successful implementation.
- Prepare technical and financial reports for donors and internal management, documenting lessons learned and success stories.
- Maintain regular communication with ADB, national and provincial authorities, CSO partners, and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- Proven experience designing and delivering livelihood‑strengthening training in agricultural or business contexts.
- Strong understanding of climate‑resilient practices and market‑oriented approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners, including government, NGOs, and private sector.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
