Operations and Project Manager

About the role

The Operations and Project Manager will lead KTowers' technical operations and deliver multiple telecom, infrastructure, power and technology projects. This role balances day‑to‑day operational excellence with structured project delivery across technical, commercial and customer‑facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical operations team, field activities, managed services and maintenance programs to meet availability, quality and SLA targets.
• Manage the Network Operations Center (NOC) – real‑time monitoring, alarm handling, incident escalation, ticketing, KPI/SLA tracking and reporting.
• Deliver projects from initiation to close‑out, controlling scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk.
• Oversee telecom site builds, including civil works, towers, power systems, transmission, equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
• Mentor engineers, technicians and NOC personnel, set KPIs and develop competencies.
• Monitor site power and infrastructure performance – grid, generators, solar, batteries, hybrid systems and energy‑efficiency improvements.
• Manage operational and project budgets, cost performance and support procurement with technical specifications.
• Act as key interface with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, government agencies and technology partners.
• Support pre‑sales and business development with site assessments, technical scoping and response to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs.
• Drive continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis, standardized workflows, automation and stronger governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Project Management or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, operations, managed services or project delivery with proven team leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, budgets, schedules, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong knowledge of telecom infrastructure, tower operations, power systems and NOC operations.
• PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to operational sites.
