Retail Sales Specialist

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Retail Sales Specialist position is based in Port Moresby. You will engage walk‑in and existing customers, understand their connectivity and technology needs, and recommend appropriate Lightspeed products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Present product features and benefits to customers.
• Process sales transactions and maintain an organized retail environment.
• Answer customer inquiries and troubleshoot basic product issues.
• Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Assist with in‑store promotions and maintain accurate sales records.
• Contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong retail sales and product‑knowledge abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication, especially for technical concepts.
• Previous experience in retail, telecommunications, or technology sales (preferred).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Port Moresby, including weekends or extended hours.
• Secondary school completion; additional sales, IT or business coursework is a plus.
