Business Analyst – Payments & Digital Banking

About the role

Kina Bank is looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join its Payments and Digital Banking team in Port Moresby. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Strategic Partnerships, you will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable solutions that enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business units to gather functional and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, and process‑mapping sessions.
• Document user stories, business processes, and solution specifications.
• Analyse existing processes, propose improvements, and support the design and rollout of technology solutions.
• Assist with change impact assessments, solution evaluation, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with project managers, technology teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to gather, document and manage business requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services or technology environments is a plus.
