Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

Jomik Trading Limited is seeking a senior finance leader to join its executive team in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy and ensuring robust financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and risk assessment.
• Supervise the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Lead and develop the finance team, optimizing systems and processes.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute to long‑term business planning and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong finance and analytical expertise with a proven track record in senior finance leadership, preferably as a CFO or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CA or CMA are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage finance teams, implement controls and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills, with experience working in a culturally diverse environment.
