Digital Sales Specialist – Lae

About the role

Kina Bank is seeking a Digital Sales Specialist to expand its digital payment solutions across the Momase region. The role focuses on growing Point‑of‑Sale (POS) merchant acquisitions and driving transaction volume through strong business relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and prospective merchant customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Promote Kina Bank’s digital banking and payment solutions to businesses.
• Negotiate merchant pricing structures based on transaction volumes and profitability targets.
• Develop and implement merchant campaigns and incentives to increase card usage.
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new merchants and grow revenue.
• Monitor merchant performance and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Banking, Commerce, Marketing or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital banking, payments, sales or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, payment systems and digital channels.
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship‑management skills.
• Commercially minded with strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Technology‑savvy with ability to adapt to evolving digital solutions.
• Current motor vehicle driver’s licence (Class 6) is desirable.
